Hey Blondies!!
Put down the blonde shampoo, and step away.
Now we know that shampoo is stripping the moisture away from your extensions, that it shouldn’t be applied to the mid-lengths to ends, and throw in there the common known fact that blonde shampoos are exceptionally drying, we need an alternative! But what is it?
Well, my ultimate recommendation is to maintain your blonde shades with regular toning done by a professional colourist. Toners are a very temporary colour, they last only a few weeks and do require maintenance, most blondies maintain this with blonde shampoos, I would encourage you, if you can, to keep up a monthly appointment with your colourist.
Alternatively, or, in addition to, invest in an at home toning conditioner or treatment! This will tone your blonde and not strip your extensions of any moisture, which means you’ll enjoy a creamier shade of blonde that isn’t dry, that isn’t flat and isn’t knotty.
Ok, so now that I have made you throw your toning shampoo in the bin, what do you replace it with?
